Health and Social Security Scrutiny Panel – appointment of member
In accordance with Standing Order 125(7) the Chair of the Health and Social Security Scrutiny Panel indicated that she wished to increase the size of the Panel to 5 members, including the Chair, and nominated Deputy Geoffrey Peter Southern of St. Helier as a member of the Panel.
There being no other nominations, the Presiding Officer declared that Deputy Geoffrey Peter Southern of St. Helier had been duly appointed as a member of the Health and Social Security Scrutiny Panel.

THE STATES noted that, in accordance with Standing Order 34(1), Deputy Montfort Tadier of St. Brelade had informed the Greffier of the States that his proposition entitled Court proceedings: provision of live- streaming for sittings normally held in public' (P.43/2020) had been withdrawn.
Social Security Fund: repayment of States Contribution for 2020 P.44/2020
THE STATES rejected a proposition of Deputy Kirsten Francis Morel of St. Lawrence entitled Social Security Fund: repayment of States Contribution for 2020' (P.44/2020) to agree that the sum of £65.3 million should be paid to the Social Security Fund to compensate for the lack of any contribution by the States to the Fund in 2020; and to request the Council of Ministers to include a structured proposal within the 2021 Government Plan for such funding to be made within the next 15 years.
