Offices for A1. The Committee, with reference to Minute No. B2 of 18th October 2021, recalled States that it had asked an external company to provide a high-level cost estimate for Members - repurposing Piquet House to accommodate office space for States Members. The amendment to Committee had agreed that it would consider lodging an amendment to the Government Government Plan 2022 - 2025 in order to secure an appropriate level of funding for further Plan 2022 - exploratory work to be undertaken on this matter.

Further to the costings received from the external company, the Committee received and considered a draft amendment to the Government Plan which asked the States Assembly to approve £100,000 to enable a feasibility study of Piquet House. The Committee noted that, if approved, further funds would need to be identified in a future Government Plan to complete the project as well as additional revenue funds for ongoing operational costs.
The Committee approved the amendment and requested the Principal Committee and Panel Officer to make the necessary arrangements for it to be lodged au Greffe' as soon as practicable.
