Policy A1. The Committee, with reference to Minute B8 of 2nd November 2020, as guidance in previously constituted, recalled that it had previously presented policy guidance respect of regarding the lodging and presentation processes to the States Assembly. The Standing Order Committee agreed to present policy guidance in respect of parental responsibilities' 53(2): parental under Standing Order 53(2).

The Committee noted that the guidance had initially been provided to States Members via electronic mail on 3rd December 2020, following a Proposition by Deputy L.M.C Doublet of St. Saviour which had added a provision for the absence of an elected member for parental responsibilities to Standing Order 53. The Committee noted that the guidance had not changed since that date and requested the Principal Committee and Panel Officer to make the necessary arrangements for it to be presented in the R' series to the States Assembly.
