Standing Order 55A – remote participation
THE STATES, with reference to their Act dated 14th September 2021, in which they had agreed that, notwithstanding Standing Order 55A(1), members who did not wish to attend in the States Chamber might continue to take part in States meetings using Microsoft Teams (until the States had considered and voted upon a proposition to re-apply Standing Order 55A(1) or to repeal or vary the terms of the Standing Order), assembled in accordance with Standing Order 55A with members able to participate remotely using Microsoft Teams.

THE STATES, on the proposition of the Minister for External Relations and Financial Services, resolved to sit in Committee, in order to discuss the report entitled External Relations Common Policy Report' (R.124/2022), presented by the Minister for External Relations and Financial Services on 8th September 2022.
Changes in Presidency
The Bailiff retired from the Chamber during the consideration in Committee of the Minister for External Relations and Financial Services entitled External Relations Common Policy Report' (R.124/2022) and the meeting continued under the Presidency of Mr. William John Charles Millow , Deputy Greffier of the States. The Bailiff returned to the Chamber during consideration of the same proposition and the meeting continued under his Presidency.

Arrangement of public business for future meetings
THE STATES, having previously noted on 20th September 2020 that the e-petition Introduce an immediate reduction in road fuel duty' had attracted more than 5,000 signatures and adopting a proposition of the Vice-Chair of the Privileges and Procedures Committee, agreed that the e-petition would be considered in Committee at the meeting of 4th October 2022.
THE STATES agreed the following arrangement of public business for future meetings proposed, as amended, by the Vice-Chair of the Privileges and Procedures Committee in accordance with the provisions of Standing Order 88(3) –
