This Order makes provision in relation to the conduct and discipline of the States of Jersey Police Force and port control officers which supplements Part II of the Police (Complaints and Discipline) (Jersey) Law 1999. It states -
(a ) w hat is an offence against discipline;
(b ) th e procedures for informal resolution of a complaint;
(c ) th e procedures for a formal investigation of a complaint or other matter;
(d ) th e procedures for hearing a disciplinary charge and the punishments that may be imposed; (e ) th e procedures for an appeal against a finding of an offence against discipline.
The Order was made on 30th November 2000 and comes into force on 1st January 2001.
