Health Insurance (Medical Prescribing Practitioners) (Jersey) Order 2018.

This Order sets out (in Articles 2 to 4) the conditions and process for doctors who are not practising as general practitioners (and who are therefore not on the "performers list" for the purposes of the Health Insurance (Jersey) Law 1967) to be approved by the Minister as medical prescribing practitioners ("MPPs") who may prescribe pharmaceutical benefit at cost to the Health Insurance Fund.

Article 2 further provides that applicants for approval must apply to the Minister in the approved form containing a declaration that the applicant is a doctor registered in Jersey practising in a primary care setting, and if approved, will issue pharmaceutical benefit to insured persons only. Article 2(5) also requires both applicants, and persons who are approved as MPPs, to inform the Minister in writing of any change in circumstances material to the approval.

Articles 3 and 4 confer powers on the Minister to revoke an approval, and to require further information from approved MPPs.

Article 5 gives the title by which this Order may be cited and provides for it to come into force 7 days after being made.

The Order was made on 12th October 2018 and came into force on 19th October 2018.

Taxation (Double Taxation) (Amendment of Regulations) (Jersey) Order 2018.

This Order amends the Taxation (Double Taxation) (Jersey) Regulations 2010 to add Cyprus, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom to the list of countries with which Jersey holds double taxation agreements.

The Order was made on 12th October 2018 and came into force on 19th October 2018.
