( b ) to agree that, notwithstanding the transfer of administration, the annual rental income received by the

AGRICULTURE AND FISHERIES COMMITTEE
Note: T he Harbours and Airport Committee's comments are to follow.
Report
It is proposed that the Agriculture and Fisheries Committee transfers to the Harbours and Airport Committee an area of land at the rear of the States Abattoir totalling 16,083 square feet.
The subject land is no longer required as part of the Abattoir site, and would be put to effective use by the Harbours and Airport Committee for boat parking.
The Harbours and Airport Committee will transfer to the Agriculture and Fisheries Committee an annual rental of £16,103.30, subject to three yearly rent reviews. It will also be responsible for erecting a fence around the perimeter of the subject land to separate it from the Abattoir.
Part of the subject land (3,079 square feet) is shortly to be leased to the Jersey Electricity Company Limited. It is considered appropriate that the Harbours and Airport Committee takes over the administration of that lease, consistent with the other leases held by the Jersey Electricity Company Limited at La Collette.
There are no other financial implications and there are no manpower implications resulting from the proposed transfer of administration.
