PROPOSITION

THE STATES are asked to decide whether they are of opinion

to a p prove the appointment of Jurat Jill Meredith Clapham for the purpose of administering the income of

the Greville Bathe Fund in place of Mazel Joan Le Ruez, who, on 4th October 2003, ceased to hold the office of Jurat.

FINANCE AND ECONOMICS COMMITTEE

REPORT

The will of the late Greville Inverness Bathe provided for the setting up of a fund to be known as the Greville Bathe Fund. This fund provides relief and pensions to persons in need who have given service in an honorary or remunerated administrative or clerical capacity to the Island or relief to sick and aged persons of either sex.

The administration of the fund is carried out by 4 Jurats of the Royal Court selected by the States of Jersey.

The Superior number of the Royal Court by Act dated 9th October 2003, approved Jurat Jill Meredith Clapham for nomination by the States to the Greville Bathe Fund in place of Mazel Joan Le Ruez who ceased to hold the office of Jurat on 4th October 2003.

The other Trustees of the fund are Jurat A.P. Querée, Jurat M.A. Rumfitt and Jurat S.C.A. Le Brocq. The States of Jersey are asked to acknowledge the change in Trustee for the Greville Bathe Fund. There are no financial or manpower implications for the States arising from this proposition.
