3.15   Deputy J.H. Young of the Minister for Planning and Environment regarding development on the coast:

Further to large scale development on Jersey's coast, such as Portelet and La Coupe, approved by previous Ministers, and public concern over future developments he has approved at Plémont and on the Grouville Coast, will the Minister ensure that at the conclusion of his term of office he leaves behind a legacy of strong planning policy regime to ensure Jersey's coasts remain unspoilt for future generations and, if not, why not?

Deputy R.C. Duhamel of St. Saviour (The Minister for Planning and Environment): Yes, it is my intention. [Laughter] 3.15.1   Deputy J.H. Young:

A supplementary. Since the Minister has acknowledged that he is obviously reflecting on the end of his term of office, could he share with us what he thinks is the Ministerial Decision of which he is most proud, and his least, as far as the coast?

Deputy R.C. Duhamel: No.
