Following recent media reports about the potential final cost of the Committee of Inquiry into Historic Child Abuse rising significantly above what was originally forecast, will the Chief Minister commit to making available the necessary public funds to ensure that the Committee of Inquiry is able to fulfil its purpose?

The Council of Ministers meeting on 11 February 2015 decided that the Chief Minister should lodge a proposition in order that the States Assembly can decide upon funding for the Committee of Inquiry.
