Question

Will the Chair advise the Assembly –

  1. how much money has been paid from the Redundancy Provision in relation to Voluntary Release and Compulsory Redundancies from the inception of the Provision in 2015 to the current date;
  2. how many employees have received such payments; and
  3. at which Tiers these individuals were employed?

Answer

  1. Since the scheme was launched in 2015 a total of £9.4m has been paid out for VR and a total of £975k has been paid out for CR from the Redundancy Provision. The table below provides a breakdown by year:

Please note, these figures relate solely to VR's and CR's that have been paid from the Central Redundancy Provision and therefore does not include CR's funded by departments
