OQ.220/2021 ORAL QUESTION FOR TUESDAY 2nd NOVEMBER 2021
Deputy I. Gardiner of St. Helier will ask the following question of the Minister for Children and Education –
"Has the Minister received the results of the primary school estate review in St. Helier ; and, if so, will he update members on the outcome of the review?"
The following response was provided in writing in accordance with Standing Order 63(9) as the oral question was not asked before the end of the time allowed for Oral Questions:
On Friday last week I received a briefing from officers on the latest draft of the report. The outcome is a wealth of detailed analysis has been carried out and a range of potential scenarios are included in the report. These detail options for new schools on new sites, and possible extensions to current schools.
The report will be further progressed before recommendations are discussed by the Corporate Asset Management Board, the Regeneration Steering Group and the Council of Ministers. Sites will be identified in accordance with the Deputy 's proposition (as amended) P.43/2021.
