Question

Will the Minister advise whether High Value Residents receive any Government support to assist with their relocation to Jersey; and, if so, will he provide details of such support, including the costs involved?

Answer

The Government employs one member of staff in the Economy Department who responds to enquiries, assists with the application process and due diligence checks. Treasury are also involved in carrying out financial assessments. Those applying for 2(1)(e) residency receive no financial support from the Government.
