Teacher Recruitment and Retention Review

Further to my previous letter of 30th August 2019 please see the below response to the remaining question of the panel.

6.  Have any of the vacancies been filled, if so, how many?

At 31st May 2019 there were 69 teaching contracts with an end date of 31st August 2019. As previously advised, 35 of these were fixed term contracts, 13 of which have already been extended. All of the 56 remaining teaching contracts with a 31st August end date (as known at 31st May) have successfully been recruited to.

Subsequent staff movements have resulted in the current level of 7 new teacher vacancies as detailed below:
