Dear Chair,

Many thanks for your letter, dated 12 May 2020.

As you highlight, there are a number of key areas of activity that have been disrupted by the Coronavirus crisis. The best way to ensure that Scrutiny is brought up to speed on what the impact has been on key projects, is through a series of briefings, as suggested in your letter.

I have instructed my officials to liaise with your officers to arrange briefings on the projects you note and on any other key areas that may be of use.

I note the Scrutiny Liaison Committee, in their letter dated 29 April, are also asking for updates on a number of areas. I suggest that, where applicable, these are combined SLC/CSSP briefings to ensure minimal repetition.

Yours sincerely,

Senator John Le Fondré Chief Minister
