Dear Ministers,

Thank you for your continued collaboration with the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), Public Health England (PHE) and NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I) to make the necessary preparations for a COVID-19 vaccination programme.

I am writing to you to address questions raised in your letter of 1 October 2020 in relation to supply of COVID-19 vaccines to the Crown Dependencies by the UK Government. As my letter of 16 November 2020 confirmed, the Crown Dependencies are included in the allocation and supply of any COVID-19 vaccine by Her Majesty's Government (HMG).

Regarding your query on Crown indemnity, we can confirm that, in respect of the supply of the COVID-19 vaccines by HMG, the HMG indemnity to suppliers under the vaccine supply contract will remain in place for vaccines supplied to the Crown Dependencies under the contract.

As part of the arrangements for HMG's commitment to supply COVID vaccines to the Crown Dependencies, we ask that you confirm in writing that you will handle and use the goods in accordance with product authorisation and HMG instructions.

EDWARD ARGAR MP
