Senator Kristina Moore

Chair, Corporate Services Scrutiny Panel By email

8th of September 2021 Dear Senator Moore ,

Draft Taxation (Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax and Revenue Administration) (Jersey) Law 202- [P.51-2021]

Thank you for your letter dated the 7th of September, requesting a delay of the States Assembly debate for P.51-2021 which was planned for the 14th of September 2021.

On behalf of the Minister for Treasury and Resources, I am willing to agree to a further short delay and to defer the debate until the meeting of the States on the 5th of October 2021, to enable the panel to complete their work to help inform the debate.

I would be grateful if any further questions the panel may have regarding this proposition are sent to the Minister as soon as possible to allow time for a response and to ensure the panel has all the information they require.

Yours sincerely

Deputy Lindsay Ash

Assistant Minister - Treasury and Resources
