Chair, Corporate Services Scrutiny Panel

Via email to: (k.moore2@gov.je) 28 January 2021

Dear Senator Moore

Corporate Services Scrutiny Panel: People and Culture review

Thank you for your letter dated 25 January 2021 and for sharing the terms of reference for your People and Culture Review.

As noted when we spoke, my 2021 work plan includes a specific piece of work following up the March 2019 report on the Role and Operation of the States Employment Board. I have not yet confirmed the timing of this work during 2021. I am happy to share the project specification and timing for my planned follow up work once it is available.

You also enquired about receipt of minutes of relevant groups such as the Council of Ministers by my Office. As part of any review that I undertake I request relevant supporting documentary evidence from the Government of Jersey. Depending on the nature of my review this may include minutes of decision making meetings.

My ongoing review of the Government's response to the Covid-19 pandemic includes work in respect of governance and decision making. I requested and received approved minutes from relevant decision making groups from the Government in respect of this work.

I trust this helps. Yours sincerely

Lynn Pamment
