R.158/2021 – Jersey Appointments Commission: Commissioner Appointments Information Request

On considering the report [R.158/2021] entitled Jersey Appointments Commission: Commissioner Appointments (the Report) the Corporate Services Scrutiny Panel (the Panel) observed that the appointment of a new Commissioner was required due to the resignation of a Commissioner (Mrs Jennifer Carnegie) before the end of the agreed term.

In order that the Panel can view the Report with all of the relevant detail provided could you kindly confirm the rationale surrounding the resignation of Mrs J Carnegie and provide a copy of the resignation letter and any other correspondence surrounding the resignation or events that led to the resignation to the Panel prior to Wednesday 6th October 2021.
