Review into Covid-19, Support for Small Businesses, Interim Response
We thank you for your response dated 31st March 2021 to our open letter as part of our review into Covid-19, Support for Small Businesses.
As noted in the correspondence, we have found ourselves in a rapidly changing situation and the Panel appreciate the recognition from the Government for financial support in order to support livelihoods and protect islanders' jobs.
The Panel would like to invite you to a public hearing to discuss your response to its open letter and to also discuss where improvements could be made and the Government's strategy going forward. I have asked our officer to contact your Department to find a suitably convenient date in the next 2-3 weeks.
