Jersey Farming Conference 2021
I write to you following the recently held Jersey Farming Conference. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend however, Senator Steve Pallett, who is a member of the Panel, was in attendance and supplied feedback to the Panel on the various speeches made on the day.
The Panel has received a copy of your speech and has read it with great interest. We agree there are areas of concern that should be addressed and would like to invite you to a private meeting with the Panel for further discussion around both these and the rural economy generally.
To that end, could I ask please that you liaise with our officer, Janice Hales on j.hales@gov.je to confirm if you would be available on Friday 14th January at 10.30am for a private meeting with the Panel via Microsoft Teams. If this is not convenient, our officer will be able to offer some alternative dates which suit both parties.
