States Greffe: Scrutiny

Deputy Susie Pinel

Minister for Treasury and Resources By email

30th November 2021 Dear Minister

Economic and International Affairs Scrutiny Panel

Memoranda of Understanding - States-owned entities and Arm's Length Organisations

I write regarding our recent correspondence relating to Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) of States-owned entities and Arm's Length Organisations and your offer of a briefing to the Panel.

As you are aware, unfortunately the Panel has had to cancel the briefing from your Department due to take place on 1st December and we would be extremely grateful if you could refrain from signing any of the finalised MoU's until an alternative date for this briefing, affording Scrutiny the opportunity of input, has been arranged. I understand our officer is currently liaising with your Department to try to arrange a mutually convenient time which we hope will be sooner rather than later.

If you have any questions regarding our work, please do not hesitate to contact me. Yours sincerely

Deputy David Johnson

Chair
