30 April 2021

Dear Senator Moore

Fiscal Stimulus Fund – Tranche 2 documentation

Thank you for your letter dated 28th April 2021 in which you request the documentation relating to the Fiscal Stimulus Oversight Group recommendations for Tranche Two. There has been a delay in providing you with this information as the Group met yesterday to further consider their recommendations to me.

Given the nature of the applications in Tranche Two, the Fiscal Stimulus Oversight Group have indicated that they need some additional time to consider the projects because they are faced with a significant amount of construction applications. The intention is for them to give me a draft recommendation by the 8th May.

In the interim period, please find attached a schedule and summary documentation relating to those applications currently being considered for recommendation which do include some expressions of interest from Tranche One that the Corporate Services Scrutiny Panel indicated should be reconsidered as part of their review.

This documentation is being provided on a confidential basis to enable the Panel to provide comments to me as part of my overall consideration of the outcomes for Tranche Two. We would be grateful if you were able to provide those comments by 11th of May 2021.

Yours sincerely

Deputy Susie Pinel

Minister - Treasury and Resources
