Dear Chief Minister and Assistant Chief Minister,

Migration and Population Review Panel Review of P.116/2021 Common Population Policy

I write to inform you that the Migration and Population Review Panel will be undertaking a review of P.116/2021 Common Population Policy, lodged by the Council of Ministers on 10th December 2021 for a debate to be held in the States Assembly on 8th February 2022.

The Panel's Terms of Reference for the review are attached for your information and a public call for evidence is being issued.

As part of that gathering of evidence, arrangements are in progress to schedule Public Hearings with you both, one in early January and one later in the same month.

I would be happy to address any questions you may have about our work. Yours sincerely

Senator Steve Pallett
