Deputy Susie Pinel

Minister for Treasury & Resources

25th March 2021 Dear Minister

Corporate Services Scrutiny Panel Fiscal Stimulus Fund Comments Paper

Thank  you for  your  letter  of  the  16th  March  2021,  and  provision  of  summary  information pertaining to the Fiscal Stimulus Oversight Group's (FSOG) recommendations for Tranche 1 allocations of the Fiscal Stimulus Fund, received on the 18th March 2021. As we have iterated in our recent meetings, it has proven impossible to review the recommendations and make comments by your request of 24th March 2021, due to our current work programme and the sitting of the States Assembly.

We  have  however  endeavoured  to  consider  the  recommendations  and  will  forward  our comments to you by Friday 26th March 2021. We hope that this will be acceptable, as you can imagine this is still a condensed timeframe to review the work of the FSOG, which, as confirmed in our recent quarterly hearing, had met around 18 times over at least a 3-month period.

Yours sincerely

Senator Kristina Moore

Chair, Corporate Services Scrutiny Panel
