Changes to the Objects and Purpose of the Ann Alice Rayner Fund (P.92/2021)

Following the publication of the Minister for Treasury and Resources' Comments Paper on the 14th December 2021 in response to the Panel's own Comments Paper, we would be grateful if you could please provide feedback to the Panel on the Minister's statements, including the views outlined in its appendix, and whether you believe that the Minister is correct in her approach to the term philanthropic'.

The Panel would be particularly grateful if you could please outline your views on the impact that the word philanthropic' on the proposition, including how its removal will affect your interpretation of the changes to the Fund, and whether you believe that these proposed changes will establish a precedent for how other Gift Funds could be held.

Finally, the Panel would be grateful if you could please outline your line of accountability within this proposition, and what responsibilities you understand you would hold should this proposition be adopted.

The Panel would be grateful if you could confirm any thoughts on this item by Friday 14th January 2022.
