8th August 2022

Dear Minister,

Regulations for the licensing, production and export of Medicinal Cannabis in Jersey

As part of its work programme over the coming months the Economic and International Affairs Scrutiny Panel will be following up on findings and recommendations made to Ministers by its predecessor during the previous term of office.

Your predecessor presented Ministerial Response S.R1/2022 to the previous Panel's report of the Regulations for the licensing, production and export of Medicinal Cannabis in Jersey.

We note that of the 24 recommendations made within the Panel's report, 9 were accepted, 2 were partially accepted and the remainder were rejected. Of those accepted, a target date of between Q2 and Q3 of 2022 was set and we would be grateful if you could provide an update as to the status of these recommendations.

If you have any questions regarding this or our work in general, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely,

Deputy Moz Scott

Chair

Economic and International Affairs Scrutiny Panel
