1st March 2022 Dear Chief Minister,

Corporate Services Scrutiny Panel

Quarterly Public Hearing [Witness: Chief Minister] – 3rd March 2022

The Corporate Services Scrutiny Panel [the Panel] have recently been informed by Government Officers that you will be out of the Island on official business from the 2nd until 14th March 2022 and, that the Panel will need to reschedule the Quarterly Public Hearing with yourself scheduled to take place on Friday 3rd March 2022.

The Panel would appreciate it if you could confirm the detail of the official business being undertaken which limits your availability to attend the Quarterly Public Hearing with the Panel from the 2nd until 14th March 2022. The Panel would also like to understand why this is taking place at short notice without consideration for arranged appointments which have been in the diary since the second week of January.

The Panel are concerned that there are a number of commitments in the calendar for both parties during March and April and sourcing a suitable time and date to re-arrange could be problematic. The Panel would appreciate you providing three alterative dates in order that the hearing can be rearranged as soon as possible.

The Panel look forward to your formal response and would request this information be received by Tuesday 1st March 2022.

Yours sincerely

Senator Kristina Moore

Chair, Corporate Services Scrutiny Panel
