Dear Minister,
Quarterly Hearing Follow-up
Thank you for your attendance upon the Panel at the Quarterly Public Hearing with you on 27th July 2023. A number of items were requested or offered, and we would be grateful if these could be forwarded:
• General criteria used in identification of volunteers for Jersey Overseas Aid Commission (JOA) community projects to increase participation from a varied range of backgrounds,
• The set of indicators that the JOA have developed in partnership with project partners looking at what they are each measuring across their different projects, and any findings of these indicators,
• A copy of your spreadsheet or tracker identifying progress made against your Ministerial Delivery Plan.
We would also value further explanation of the governance, auditing and financial safeguarding policies of providing aid to those faced with war.
It is the Panel’s preference to publish the information provided. However, we understand that some elements may need to remain confidential. If necessary; please separate and clearly mark any such part of your response.
We would be grateful if you could respond to this no later than Monday 14th AugustE 2023 in line with the 5 working days approved for responses between Scrutiny Panels and Ministers.
If you have any questions regarding this or our work in general, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours sincerely,
Deputy Moz Scott
Chair
