Hospital Review Panel: St Saviours Health Village
I am writing in relation to the proposals for the St Saviours Health Village, which were approved as part of the New Healthcare Facilities Project' in Government Plan 2024-2027.
The Panel notes that the Ministerial Response to Recommendation 6 of the previous Future Hospital Review Panel's New Healthcare Facilities Programme Review – Interim Report', in relation to the provision of detailed information about the St Saviours Health Village that, "The Functional Brief has been prepared for the New Healthcare Facilities. It will continue to be updated as requirements are discussed with HCS stakeholders and agreed with Governance Groups".
The Panel should therefore be grateful if responses could be provided to the following questions and requests for information, by no later than Tuesday 9th July:
- Please can you provide an update on the status of the field purchases for the St Saviours Health Village?
- Please can you provide information about the provision of funding for the St Saviours Health Village field purchases?
- A description of the governance processes that have been followed in relation to expenditure on the St Saviours Health Village.
- The clinical basis for locating the Health Village in St Saviour, rather than as part of the existing health estate.
