2. | The Panel endorsed the content of notes from meetings with Fulfilment Industry representatives and noted matters for information as follows-

3. | Dairy Review The Panel discussed its next review which would be related to the viability of the Dairy. The Panel was advised that it would be provided with an early draft of the Public Accounts Committee report on the dairy relocation. The Panel agreed that a Sub-Panel was the appropriate way forward for the review and that it should be Chaired by the its Vice Chairman, Deputy A. Breckon. The Panel discussed the breadth of the review and agreed on the broad concepts that it would include. It was agreed that the Terms of Reference should be completely | NJF |

4. | Fulfilment Review The Panel noted that the Economic Development Minister had confirmed his attendance to a Hearing on the 26th July 2006 between 10.00 and 11.30 am. The Panel agreed that it should meet on the 17th and 18th July 2006 to develop the questions it would ask the Minister. The officer was requested to take the necessary action. The Chairman advised that correspondence had been drafted and forwarded to HM Attorney General seeking clarification on some of the legal issues connected to the application of the Regulation of Undertakings and Development (Jersey) Law 1973. It was noted that some professional advice may be required with regard to legal generalities and this approach was endorsed by the Panel. The Panel began work on drafting questions for its forthcoming hearing and instructed its officer to take the necessary action. | CLQ |
5 | Rural Development Grant The Panel having questioned the robustness of the newly proposed grant scheme for shell fish farmers was advised of the proposed process for fund allocation. The Panel was content with the safeguards in place at this time. |
