3. Item 15 17.09.07 | Strategic initiatives 6 monthly report a. Chief Minister It was noted that the Chief Minister had requested for the Public Meeting with the Panel scheduled for the 2nd October to be postponed, and that an alternative date would be arranged as soon as possible. The Panel discussed its question plan for this meeting, and agreed that the issue of the Migration Policy should be discussed in private, as the Migration Policy proposals had not yet been released for public consultation. It was further agreed that Deputy Southern and Deputy Martin should be invited to attend this section of the meeting as members of the Migration Policy Scrutiny Sub-Panel. The Panel noted that the latest Strategic Plan Progress against initiatives report mentioned an initial study that had been conducted to identify public services that might be provided by the private sector, and agreed that this document should be requested in advance of the Panel's meeting with the Chief Minister. | SP SP Scruti ny Panel |
