Ref Back Agenda matter Action [26/02/07, 1. GP out-of Hours
Item 1] The Panel met prior to the States sitting to consider the GP Out-of-Hours Report and whether it would continue to follow
the course of action agreed at its meetings on 22nd and 26th February 2007. As the meeting had been called at late notice,
an agenda had not been produced.
The Panel noted that the possibility that further amendments to the report might become necessary. It therefore agreed to defer the presentation of the report to the States and to postpone the media release that had been planned for 28th February 2007.
The Panel agreed that a request would be made for further WM clarification regarding any public meetings that may have been
held as part of the public consultation for the proposed GP co- operative service.
The Panel reconvened following the States sitting to give further consideration to those sections of the report relating to WM safety risks and fatigue. The Panel agreed to amend the report
and requested that the report be adjusted accordingly.
