1. Centeniers in the Magistrate's Court

As the meeting was review specific, Deputies S. Pitman and J. Gallichan had not been required to attend. The Panel considered the  draft  report  for  its  review  of  the  Centeniers' role  in  the Magistrate's Court.

2. Overdale Hospital

The  Panel  and  its  Sub-Panel  approved  the  final  version  of Overdale:  The  Closure  of  Leoville  and  McKinstry   Ward s  as produced by the Social Affairs Sub-Panel (Overdale Review). It was agreed that the report would be distributed under embargo until 6:00am on Wednesday 10th January 2007 on which date it would be presented to the States.

It was noted that Deputy A.E. Pryke, Chairman of the Sub-Panel, would be available for media interviews on 9th January 2007.

Deputies  S.  Pitman  and  J.  Gallichan  approved  the  report  by telephone.   Deputy  S.  Power  of  the  Sub-Panel  approved  the report by telephone and apologies were given by Deputies R.G. Le Hérissier and S.C. Ferguson of the Sub-Panel.

The  Panel  instructed  the  Scrutiny  Officer  to  arrange  for  the release of its report.
