Comptroller and A1. The Committee noted that Mr. C. Swinson, O.B.E. had been re-appointed as Auditor General: Comptroller and Auditor General for a further period of 5 years commencing on 1st Re-Appointment. October 2008, in accordance with Article 41 of the Public Finances (Jersey) Law 1443 (1) 2005 (P.101/2008 refers).

The Committee expressed its gratitude for all the work and assistance provided to date by Mr. Swinson, and welcomed his re-appointment.

States of Jersey A2. The  Committee  noted  that  immediately  following  this  meeting  a  public 2007 Financial hearing would be held at which Messrs I. Gallichan, Chief Officer of Housing, M. Reports and Campbell, Comptroller of Income Tax and D. Flowers, Director of Jersey Property Accounts: Public Holdings, would be interviewed regarding the States of Jersey Accounts for 2007. hearing on 21st
