Item 3 13.12.07

Energy Consultation Response

The Panel met and discussed completion of its response to the draft Energy Policy consultation document issued by the Environment Department. It recalled that Connétable Crowcroft and Deputy C. Scott Warr en had given apologies for any meetings taking place prior to the 10th January 2008.

The Panel gave detailed consideration and responded to the Policy Options  contained  within  the  draft.  Due  to  insufficient  time  to complete the work it agreed to reconvene on the 8th January 2008.

The officer was requested to take the necessary action to provide a draft response for the Panel's consideration at that meeting.

The  Panel  identified  several  reports  referenced  within  the consultation document and agreed that copies be requested from the Department.
