The Committee noted a draft Amendment to P.194/2007 ("Jersey Enterprise Enterprise Board: Board: proposed establishment") prepared by the Chairman, which sought to bring proposed the new group (including the Waterfront Enterprise Board- W.E.B.) within the remit establishment": of the Comptroller and Auditor General (C.A.G.).

1444/7(2) The Committee noted that it was intended that the Jersey Enterprise Board should be
treated as a States-funded body, enabling the C.A.G. to employ auditors and conduct such reviews as he considered necessary and as provided for by Articles 46 and 47 of the Public Finances (Jersey) Law 2005.
Advocate A. Ohlsson declared a conflict of interest and took no part in the discussion or resolution of this item.
The Committee accordingly approved the draft Amendment and requested the Chairman to arrange for it to be lodged au Greffe' on 15th January 2008, for consideration by the States on 26th February 2008.
Dates for A2. The Committee, having taken into consideration the schedule of dates for meetings and meetings of the Comité des Connétable s, agreed the undermentioned schedule of hearings in dates for Public Accounts Committee meetings in 2008, which would be held on 512/1(17). Mondays commencing at 12.30 p.m. unless otherwise notified-

19th May 10th November
16th June 15th December
In addition, the Committee agreed that public hearings would be scheduled for the afternoons of 11th February (on which date the Committee meeting element would commence at 10.30 a.m. in order to receive a delegation of the Privileges and Procedures Committee in relation to the Committee's response to the review of the first 12 months of Ministerial Government - R.105/2007) and 14th July; and, in addition, Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd July 2008.
