Review of the A1. The Committee noted the report of the Comptroller and Auditor General report of the (C&AG) entitled: Energy from Waste Plant management of foreign currency Comptroller and exchange risks,' presented to the States on 23rd March 2009 (R.24/2009 refers). Auditor General

entitled: Energy The Committee considered, and accordingly approved, the draft terms of reference from Waste Plant and scoping document for a review of the report of the C&AG. – management of foreign currency The Committee ratified the decision of the Chairman to conduct a public hearing in exchange risks'. relation to the review on 20th April 2009 at the Old Magistrate's Court, Seale 512(6) Street, St. Helier , and to call the following witnesses: the Treasurer of the States; the

Head of Decision Support, Treasury and Resources Department; the Minister for Treasury and Resources; Mr. J. Pope of Royal London Asset Management; Mr. D. Hager of Hewitt Associates; and Mr. N. Farrington of Deloitte LLP. The Committee noted that Mr. Hager was unable to attend on 20th April 2009 and had therefore been invited to attend a further public hearing on Friday 24th April 2009 at 12.30 p.m. in the Le Capelain Room, States Building.
