1. Records of Previous Meetings

The Panel approved the records of its meetings held on 13th June and 11th July 2011, which were signed accordingly.

 

 

2. Meeting with Minister for Economic Development

The Panel welcomed the Minister for Economic Development to its meeting. The Panel discussed with the Minister the progress of a number of pieces of his Department's work including:

  • Economic Growth Strategy
  • Tourism PPP
  • Jersey Enterprise
  • Rural Economy Strategy

 

 

3. Economic Growth Strategy

Further to the discussions at its previous meeting and the update from the Minister for Economic Development, the Panel considered the feasibility of a Review of the Economic Growth Strategy in the limited available timeframe. It agreed that a draft Scoping document and  Terms  of  Reference  should  be  circulated  based  on  those discussions for Panel comment.

4. Future Meetings

The Panel agreed that it would undertake to progress work on its proposed  Economic  Growth  Strategy  Review  via  electronic meetings. Its next scheduled meeting was noted for 9:30am on 15th
