01/08/12 Item 1 513/35 | 1. Medium Term Financial Plan The Panel noted receipt of an invoice for £2,625 for work undertaken by MJO Consulting for the Corporate Services (MTFP) Sub-Panel. As this was within the initial budget of £7,000 agreed by the Panel for the engagement of MJO Consulting, it was noted that arrangements would be made for the invoice to be paid. The Panel further noted that a total of £4,375 remained available for use on the engagement of MJO Consulting. The Panel was advised that the Scrutiny Office would request both MJO Consulting and the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) to provide estimates of the work they believed would be required before the end of the review in order to assess whether that work could be undertaken within current budgetary limits. It was noted that the Scrutiny Office would inform the Sub-Panel of the responses to those requests when it next met on 30th August 2012. | WM |
