Item 1 11.07.12 513/35 | 1. Medium Term Financial Plan In preparation for the public hearing with the Minister for Home Affairs, the Panel discussed each of the questions previously presented to the Minister, along with the written responses supplied. The approach to be taken during the public hearing was agreed. In relation to the arranged public hearing with the Minister for Education, Sport and Culture, the Panel heard that notification had been received from the Minister that he was only available for one hour and twenty minutes on the arranged date rather than the agreed two hours. The Panel agreed that this was not acceptable that the Minister had treated Scrutiny with so little respect and the Minister was to be advised of that. A strongly worded email was to be sent to the Minister informing him of that. An alternative date was offered to ensure that the necessary time was made available. | MR |
