14/02/14 Item 1 513/37(5) | 1. Implementation of European Legislation The Panel was advised that Senator Sir P.M. Bailhache , Minister for External Relations, had made one comment in relation to the Panel's Terms of References for its review of Draft European Union Legislation (Implementation) (Jersey) Law 201- (P.164/2013), suggesting that an additional Term of Reference be included. The Panel, noting that the suggestion reflected discussion which the Panel itself had undertaken, agreed to amend the Terms of Reference in line with the Minister's suggestion. The Panel, recalling that provision had been made in the review for written questions to be put to the Minister for External Relations, considered a list of draft questions for despatch to the External Relations and Constitutional Affairs Section. The Panel approved the list of questions and noted that responses would be requested in time for the Panel to consider them before the Minister for External Relations was received at a public hearing on 11th March 2014. | WM WM |
