The Panel agreed to make a number of minor amendments to the main body of the report which the Officer was requested to enact. Based on the changes, the Panel approved the main body of the draft report and the Officer was requested to circulate the relevant sections to contributors for comment on the factual information. Stakeholders were to be provided with five working days in which to return their comments and respond to the Panel accordingly in accordance with Paragraph 11.7 of Code of Practice for Scrutiny Panels and the Public Accounts Committee. The Panel was advised that the draft Executive Summary and Conclusion would be circulated to the Panel for approval whilst the main body of the report was with Stakeholders. 23/06/15 Item 4 514/1/1(3) | 2. MTFP The Panel recalled that the Corporate Services Panel had issued a framework of topic areas that it proposed each Scrutiny Panel to address when undertaking their own MTFP work in relation to their respective departments. Consideration was given to the framework and it was agreed that additional questions would be added which referred specifically to the amendments the Panel made to the Strategic Plan during its review of Environmental Policies. The Officer was requested to enact these amendments and send the questions out to the three departments that fell under its remit; the Strategic Housing Unit, the Planning and Environment Department and the Transport and Technical Services Department. It was agreed that each department would be asked to provide a response by Monday 24th August. It was noted that this timeframe would allow the Panel to respond with any queries it may have before circulating the documents to the Corporate Services Scrutiny Panel on 3rd September 2015. |
