1. Records of Meetings

The Panel approved the records of the meetings held on 17th, 22nd and 25th February 2016. The Chairman signed them accordingly.

2. Quarterly Public Hearing

The  Panel  welcomed  Senator  I.J.   Gorst ,  Chief  Minister,  Mr  J. Richardson, Chief Executive and Mr P. Bradbury, Director, Corporate Policy to a Quarterly Public Hearing. The Hearing was recorded and transcribed.

3. MTFP Addition

The  Chairman  discussed  the  possibility  of  other  Scrutiny  Panels undertaking their own work into the MTFP Addition and having access to the Corporate Services appointed advisor. The Chairman agreed to discuss this proposal with the other Scrutiny Panel Chairmen.

4. Jersey International Finance Centre (JIFC)

The Panel discussed the next stages for its review and agreed it would hold Public Hearings with relevant Stakeholders. The Panel requested a list of Stakeholders be drafted for circulation.

5. Quarterly Public Hearing with Minister for External Relations

The Panel discussed areas of questioning for its upcoming hearing with the Minister for External Relations. The Panel requested a question plan be drafted and circulated for further comments.

6. Future Meetings

The Panel noted its next scheduled meeting would take place on 21st March 2016 at 9.30am in Le Capelain Room, States Building and would include  a  Quarterly  Public  Hearing  with  the  Minister  for  External Relations.
