1.  Quarterly Public Hearing

The Panel welcomed the Minister for External Relations and Officers to a quarterly public hearing. The hearing was recorded and transcribed

2.  Jersey International Finance Centre

The Panel provided the Minister for Treasury and Resources with a copy of the Panel's Report S.R.8/2017, which was due to be presented to the States  the  following  day.  The  salient  aspects  of  the  Report  were discussed with the Minister.

 

 

3.  Future Hospital

The Chairman of the Health and Social Security Scrutiny Panel attended the meeting to discuss the way forward with scrutinising the outline business case and new funding strategy for the future hospital project. It was agreed that the Chairmen's Committee should be asked to establish a Review Panel.

The following Members expressed their interest in sitting on the Review Panel:

It was agreed that members of the Health and Social Security Scrutiny Panel would be asked to confirm whether they were interested in joining the Review Panel.
