1. Minutes

The minutes of the meeting of 30th October 2017 were approved and signed.

2. eGov Review

The Committee noted that an invitation had been sent to the departing Chief Executive to accompany the eGov Programme Director  to  a  public  hearing  on  27th  November  2017.  The Committee heard that the eGov Lead Reviewer, Mr M. Robinson, had developed a question plan which would be circulated before that meeting. The Committee further agreed that if the departing Chief  Executive  was  unable  to  attend,  another  officer  would suffice.

3. C&AG - Audit Plan update

The Committee noted the intention of the C&AG to publish a report on Decision Making' imminently, with a report on Grants and Subsidies' following on two weeks later.

4. Financial Management

The Committee, in relation to its agreement to hold a private meeting with the States Treasurer regarding implementation to

 

 

 

date  of  recommendations  of  the  Committee  and  the  C&AG, welcomed the States Treasurer, the Chief Officer of Community and Constitutional Affairs and the  Head of Decision Support, Treasury Department who provided a confidential briefing on Strengthening  Accountability'  across  the  whole  of  the  public sector  going  forwards.   This  meeting  was  held  in  private  in accordance with the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 (as amended) under Qualified Exemption Article 35.
