Draft Forfeiture of Assets (Civil Proceedings) (Jersey) Law 201- The Panel received the Attorney General and Mr. Pearmain for a meeting to discuss the Draft Forfeiture of Assets (Civil Proceedings) (Jersey) Law 201- and the Panel's concerns. The meeting was held in private session under Qualified Exemption Article 35 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 and a private record was therefore taken. |

Licensing Law The Panel considered the letter that had been drafted to the Assistant Minister for Economic Development, Tourism, Sport and Culture in respect of P.103/2017 – Draft Liquor Licensing (Jersey) Law 201-. The Panel identified a number of amendments to the draft letter which the Officer was requested to enact. The Officer was further requested to send the Panel an amended letter for final approval before sending it to the Assistant Minister. The Panel agreed to provide approval before 9:30am on 29th March. It was further agreed that the Panel would send the letter to all States Members, for their information, on Tuesday 2nd April. | SM SM |
| 4. Legacy Report The Panel discussed the possible content of its legacy report and identified a number of topic areas which it wished to include for the successor Panel's consideration. The Officer was requested to draft the legacy report and to circulate it to Members for comments and further input. | SM |
| 5. Forthcoming meetings The Panel noted that it was due to meet on 4th April 2018 for its next scheduled meeting. Consideration was given, however, to whether it was necessary for the Panel to meet again before the elections. It was agreed that the Chairman would decide whether or not to hold the meeting closer to the date and to advise the Panel and Officer accordingly. | SB |
