23/02/18 Item 1 | 1. Discrimination (Disability) (Jersey) Regulations 201- Following a meeting with the Drug and Alcohol Service on 23rd February, the Panel discussed whether an amendment should be made to the Regulations to exclude the paragraph on addiction, or whether the paragraph should be amended to include individuals in treatment and recovery. The Panel was not able to reach a consensus on the way forward. In that regard the Panel agreed any amendments to the Regulations would be undertaken by Members independently. The Panel agreed that a Comments paper would be drafted and presented to the States Assembly before the debate on 20th March 2018. | KB |
