1. Next Steps The Panel noted that little evidence had been forthcoming from the Ambulance staff and discussed the next steps to be taken in order to progress the Review. The Panel agreed that the Officer would liaise with the Health and Community Services Department (HCS) to identify Officers responsible for maintaining clinical governance between the Ambulance Service and HCS with a view to inviting them to attend a meeting with the Panel. It was further agreed that the meeting would provide the Panel with an opportunity to seek the Officers' views on the structure of the transfer of the Ambulance Service and the clinical governance in place. The Officer advised the Panel that, following a meeting with the Chairman the previous week, she had contacted the union representatives of the Fire Service and Ambulance Service to organise a joint meeting. It was further advised that the Panel was yet to receive a response. | SM |
