2. Common Population Policy Review The Panel received and approved a draft Heads of Report for its Common Population Policy Review (the Review). The Panel received an update from Officers on submissions made to the Review, noting that four submissions had been received from members of the public. The Panel was also updated on the progress of snap polls being undertaken with the public via social media platforms, noting that the first of the polls had received 17 responses and that a further two polls were due to be carried out during the course of the Review. The Panel agreed that these should be promoted and that ways of communicating the Review and consulting with those not digitally minded should also be considered. The Panel discussed public and private hearings with stakeholders, recalling that invitations to attend upon the Panel had been forwarded following agreement at its meeting of the 6th January 2022.
